Our author has written this story so that if you are just discovering the Arizona Vengeance team then you’ll be happy to know that you can start here. Then once you meet some of Jett’s teammates, you may find that you want to know more. This may be a sports romance but you don’t have to love hockey in order to enjoy getting to know our main characters. Ms. Bennett even found a way of mentioning one of her other series. She knows when a twist is needed to keep her readers attention so skipping ahead is highly discouraged.
Men have one persona when they are on the ice and they have a different persona that they show to family and friends. But Jett surprises himself on how he slowly changes once he’s met Emory and those in her world. One of the author’s secondary characters grabbed at my heart and she’s someone that is special to Emory. I’m hoping I’ll get to see her once I get to the next book in the series. This story has a lot of heart, some hurt, and love that will shine through. And even I fell in love. Oh, I can’t forget the steam.
