They call me a monster.
Murderous and hateful.
Beautiful but broken.
Valentina feels that women are treated any way that the man feels he has a right to. Some of what she fears may be a trigger for some. Adrian is a man with a lot of power. Men both hate and fear him. Theirs is a complicated world and this will show you how complicated.
This is a story that slowly builds. There are two stories that interweave into one. One may effect the other and that’s part of what has you turning the page. Adrian may come off as a man that lives in a dark world but a light seems to come on when he is in Valentina’s presence. Valentina seems to be a little timid and you will understand why when you first meet her. Once Adrian comes into her world she seems to blossom.
Our authors have a great collaboration. You will enjoy what they have created and not wondering as to who contributed what. The story is all about the world they have created. We’ll get plenty of steam but some things are left to your imagination – but that comes later into the story. I didn’t mind that because I was looking for justice and wanted to see that while watching our couple’s connection build. The ending left me knowing just how good these authors are at what they do.
