Lawson has two passions in his life. But does he have room for one more? Willow seems to be a little shy around people. Could that have anything to do with our little mystery? Will her past make an appearance in her present?
It doesn’t take long to realize that Lawson is going to be the hero/prince charming of this tale – and not because of the title. Willow may seem shy but she knows how to fight for herself when the time is right. Our authors did a good job in getting me to feel sorry for her as well as wanting to be her champion. They came up with the perfect combination that kept me enthralled from beginning to end.
You’ll be happy to know that even though this is the second book in a series, it could be read as a standalone. I enjoyed meeting everyone that has some sort of association with Lawson. It will help you understand the type of man he is. The suspense would show itself at just the right moment but never stay around long enough to overtake the story.
Like Willow, I am a newcomer to Graystone Texas. But also like Willow, now that I’ve visited I don’t want to leave. Lawson and Willow also helped me to realize that I need to go back and read Ransom’s story. Some may not think so but I felt this was a very romantic story. The only thing missing was the white horse. Now I’m left biting my nails because I know this can’t be all there is to the series.
