My Thoughts:

Salvatore may have bitten off more than he can chew.  Rosana can’t fix her problem by herself.  Their Prologue will give you what you need to know how the title of their story came to be.   

 

Our author caught my attention and there was not going to be anything, well almost anything, that would make me look away.  Salvatore may be part of the Famiglia but he has a big heart.  He just needs the right woman to fill what he has missing there.  Rosana seems young and making bad choices seems to be part of her right of passage.  It’s how we learn and she finds out what the consequences are for it. 

 

What’s great about this author is that even though there have been a few books in the series before this one, you don’t feel as if you’ve read this tale before.  You get to enjoy watching a relationship become more and hoping that the bad, or badder, guys get what’s coming to them.  It’s one reason not to look away because you don’t want to miss that from happening.  It’s easy to understand what their feeling and you really hope for that happy ending and I think I got the perfect one. 

 

Just like the last book, we get a treat.  The author has given us another short story.  And once again, I got no indication of the series being over. Another case of where we’ll have to be patient with Ms. Faiman and see what books she has for our future.

As an only child, Hayley Faiman had to entertain herself somehow. She started writing stories at the age of six and never really stopped.

Born in California, she met her now husband at the age of sixteen and married him at the age of twenty in 2004. After all of these years together, he’s still the love of her life.

Hayley’s husband joined the military and they lived in  Oregon,where he was stationed with the US Coast Guard. They moved back to California in 2006, where they had two little boys. Recently, the four of them moved out to the Hill Country of Texas, where they adopted a new family member, a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.

Most of Hayley’s days are spent taking care of her two boys, going to the baseball fields for practice, or helping them with homework. Her evenings are spent with her husband and her nights—those are spent creating alpha book boyfriends.
