My Thoughts:

Crosby has decided to concentrate on his job. Nadia is very specific about what she wants. Our author always gives us characters that you come to enjoy. With our main characters, they are both in the sports field. But they also happen to have grown up together.

I’ve been listening to a lot of audiobooks lately and sometimes that can be a good or bad thing. But this is a good thing. This author always seems to have a corresponding audiobook and that just sends my enjoyment into overdrive. It also means that as I’m reading her stories, I start to hear some of my favorite narrators talking in my head. Narrators always give us that little extra because, I don’t know about you, I never get an accent correct or the characters always sound like me.

All the characters the author includes in her stories seem important. They help to move the scenes along and sometimes they give us some really funny moments – even a hint to what may come next. I always know that when I pick up one of her books, at some point I’m going to laugh. And there are certain times where it can’t be contained – that can be a little rough if you do it at lunch with coworkers.

Now that spring is here, sports are starting to ramp up and what better time to read Crosby and Nadia’s story. It would be a good book to take to the park, the beach, or just sitting outdoors. If it happens to be raining, it would be a good book to cuddle up with on a damp day. No time is a bad time unless time gets away from you and the next book is coming soon.
