BLURB:
The moment the devil saw me at the auction, he purchased me.
Once upon a time...
A beast craved me, the beauty... I was his Doll, and he was my darkest fairytale.
I ravaged the beast, and the rival Don, the blue-eyed devil took me.
His angelic beauty is frightening, and I want no part of it. I’m trapped by him now in a dark place and I can’t escape. I vowed to bring him down, and I won’t rest until I do.
Vlad made Dahlia his queen. The reason behind his smile. If he was ruthless before, now he's heartless. Nobody takes away what he wants. A beast is no man, and he's going to prove it by dragging her from hell.

EXCERPT:
Given half the chance, I could imagine what my alternate life might have been like here. I might have gone to college, maybe become a lawyer, settling down and marrying a decent man, and having children.
The American dream, right?
But it was too late.
I had lived a nightmare.
My eyes landed on the budding flowers in the small garden. My gaze narrowed on the delicate red roses that were starting to bloom. The roses and their light green stems were still wet from the earlier showers that morning. The fragrance of their aroma was inviting me to come closer. I swallowed with difficulty, and my mind drifted to places I no longer was in. My hands were itching to pluck out a rose, but I forced myself to stay still. There would be no more roses for me, and I might as well start collecting thorns now.
My Thoughts:
Dahlia should be happy, but is she? Vlad has plans, but if you don’t read then you’ll never find out what they are. It wasn’t long before this book grabbed my attention. Was it Vlad? Was it Dahlia? What I can tell you is that I wanted to know what direction this author was taking her characters.
Her words were the driving force that had me flipping page after page. Once she had her hooks in me, I had no option but to continue. Our author did such a good job when she created her scenes that there’s no way that you can’t feel something. After meeting Vlad in the first book, I was surprised how my thoughts on him changed. Dahlia gives the reader a glimpse into her past. Feeling something is a given.
I was confused by her this time. Her job may be one of the toughest jobs out there but her skin seems to be a little thin for what she has to do. But if you add in her heart, that just adds to the puzzle. After finishing this second half of Vlad and Dahlia’s story, I can see why it took two books. There was too much to try and cram into one. The author didn’t try and rush this story to get to an ending either. Her characters had something to tell us and the ending would come once they were ready. I’m looking forward to when the next book comes out – if you can’t tell, I’ve quickly become a fan.
