London is having to start over. Sebastian has received some really good news. Our author does a good job showing that some age-gaps don’t have an affect on a relationship. In this case, since they already have a history nothing comes across as shiver worthy. You could see their connection right from the start.
It was great to see how we get to go on tour with the group that Sebastian belongs to. When I go to read this again, I think I’ll have my earbuds in as I listen to some music. You can see how this story fits into the Cocky Hero Club. Now, if the author had left it with just the band and our main characters I would have been happy with that but she took it one step further.
She also gives us some mystery and suspense. None of that felt out of place or as if she felt like she had to add it. It all fit perfectly into the storyline. Then she creates some heat that if I had a paperback it would probably self-combust. But the ending was frustrating. It left me hanging and I’m hoping that means there’s another book in store for this rock group – fingers crossed. I went the the author’s GoodReads page but didn’t have any luck with that investigation. Maybe it will be another book in the Cocky Heroes World – one can always hope. But I look forward to finding out.
Christine Besze is a writer, reader, mother, wife, and lover of all things wine. She lives in her own world of crazy most days, because the voices inside her head hold some great conversation. When she does have to come back to reality and act like an actual grown-up, she spends her time with her handsome hubby Z, their two gorgeous gingers and their mini-herd of German Shepherds. Born in sunny Southern California, she recently made the big leap with her family to the East Coast and couldn’t be happier. You'll still find her in flip-flops—with a full glass of wine—all year round.
