We are so excited to share the GORGEOUS covers for Anti-Heroes In Love duet by Giana Darling! Get ready to binge on this all-new forbidden/mafia romance!
I felt so much all my life that I resolved to feeling nothing at all.
Until I met my match.
As the most infamous mafioso of the 21st century, Dante Salvatore was madly passionate, unequivocally bad, and entirely too dangerous to know. He was everything I abhorred, yet I found myself representing him in the biggest criminal trial of the decade.
I was so focused on winning and achieving the success I deserved that I didn't notice the gorgeous black-eyed man's effect on me until it was too late. My icy heart had been held too close to his flame and now I wouldn't let Dante go down without fighting with everything I had in me.
Even if the cost of a new life with him meant the loss of my old life and everything I thought I held dear.

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken comes a new story in her Mafia Royals series…
One of the first rules they give you when you're undercover—never fall for the enemy. I didn't just fall for the enemy. I became what I was supposed to hate. What's worse: I fell in love with one. I live a double life, and both sides know it's only a matter of time before I'm forced to choose. Rebirth through mafia blood. Or death at the hands of the very government I swore to protect. I have one more job before my time's up. I just wish it was anything but babysitting a mafia princess who's half my size but knows how to pack such a brutal punch I worry about my ability to have children. Tin's small but terrifying. And I'm her new bodyguard while we all go on a much-needed vacation. I just have to stick to the plan. And remember rule number one. And stop kissing her.
**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**
It appears that Kartini loves to give attitude. But she shows how quickly life can change. Tank isn’t thrilled about the turn of events. It was fun to watch him get frustrated. Theirs was a story that once I started reading it seemed to end. But that’s why it’s called a novella. Sad thing was that I didn’t want it to. Good thing this is part of a series.
I liked how the author made Kartini able to take care of herself and in the next instance seem so vulnerable. Tank is strong in mind and spirit until he has someone in his space. The only trouble I had was figuring out who was the stick of dynamite and who was the match.
If you’ve not read the Mafia Royals before this might be a good introduction for you. If you are a fan of the author, I’m sure that you can’t wait to see how this fits into the series. And if you like happy endings, well the author has given that to us. It was sweet, romantic, and a great fit for our main characters. Now I’m left wanting more and wanting it now.
Excerpt:
The door slammed.
“Honey, I’m home...” I said to myself with a grin.
I had a bottle of wine out on the living room table, my shoes on the glass as I leaned back and took a swig from my goblet—because why not get fancy at two in the afternoon?
“It’s ten a.m,” came Tank’s annoyed voice.
Or ten in the morning…whoops.
“I don’t own a watch.” I shrugged.
“What’s that on your left wrist, then?”
“Oh, that?” I shrugged. “It’s an Apple watch used strictly for heart rate and exercise purposes.”
“Exercise to you is opening your mouth and closing it, Tiny.” He made it farther into the room, and I tried…I really did. I tried not to check him out.
Not to stare at his golden skin.
His bulging biceps beneath his plain black t-shirt.
The new ink poking out from the V of that same shirt.
Would he get the Abandonato crest like the rest of the Family?
I shivered.
He would look so hot with it across his chest.
Our crest.
Mine.
I shifted my eyes away too slowly, and he caught them with his green-eyed gaze before he licked his full lips like he saw something else he wanted to lick.
He always looked at me that way—with both annoyance and need.
And I never knew how to take it.
On one hand, I wanted to believe the need trumped any annoyance he felt for me, but I knew how he saw me.
As a spoiled brat with a silver spoon stuck up her ass.
And even worse now that I was older.
Now that I was…different.
“You added more blue.” He jutted his chin toward me and sat down on the chair across from the sofa I was lying on.
“Yup.” I examined my black nail polish. “I felt like it wasn’t making a strong enough statement.”
He snorted out a laugh. “And what sort of statement were you going for? Gothic chic?”
“What?” I glared at him. “You don’t like it.”
“It’s not you.”
Disappointment threatened to choke me, and shame crawled up my neck by way of a harsh red flush. “You don’t know me.”
“I did.” He locked eyes with me. “Or I thought I did.”

About Impulsive:
Oakley captured my attention.
From the very first second.
The moment she sassed me, even though I was wearing my club cut, I knew she had fire in her soul.
As the tech man for the Houston Defiance MC, it’s my job to know everything. To always be ahead of the game. To outwit, outmatch, and outmaneuver our enemies at every turn. They may be smart, but I’m smarter.
Finding out this firecracker has ties to a rival MC catches me off guard.
And my first instinct is to protect her.
Damn the consequences.
Taking her under my wing is impulsive, reckless, electrifying.
And I’m more than aware of the repercussions.
But what if she is not who she says she is?
Those close to me loathe the idea of us, and they’re becoming more of an issue.
But things are not always as they seem.
With new threats comes chaos and danger at every turn.
But perhaps the war lies closer to home than even we realize.
From International Bestselling Author K E Osborn comes the highly anticipated fourth book in the Houston Defiance MC Series.
I am always impressed when authors are upfront about there being a trigger warning. For one, the author isn’t trying to hide anything. And two, depending on the subject matter some readers have issues because of something personal they went through. Another thing I liked was that the author has given her readers a list of terms. Some readers may be confused about what a term might mean and having the information close at hand lets us enjoy the story without having to search the internet for a definition. Or a way of finding out what the author might be trying to convey when using a certain term.
Neon and his group are willing to help someone they don’t even know. Oakley has tangled with the wrong people. She has a big heart but she’s made a wrong choice. The reader gets action right from the start – and not that kind of “action”. It’s a great way to hook us in by getting the suspense started right from the beginning.
As for the other type of action, there are hints along the way which also hooks you in but there are some secondary characters that just will not let you forget them. If you’re a big race car fan than you might enjoy Oakley’s chosen profession. For my family, Sundays were a great way to do some family bonding over watching the races. What Oakley has chosen to do came along later but cars always seemed a safer choice and I don’t remember any women growing up. I love to see how jobs that were always about men are finally starting to change. At one of her chapters, she says it all.
There was one “hen” party where the author made me feel as if she was trying to have the reader feel a part of what was going on. She’s also good at showing us the unexpected – just when you think you may have someone figured out. For me, personally, this seemed to be the best to date. I didn’t even mind that she’s left me hanging. Gets me pumped for what is yet to come.

I’ve got a big pro football contract, a big appetite for women, and a big mouth. It gets me into trouble more often than not… but this time it lands me with a nerdy little PR gatekeeper who is supposed to control me. But good luck with that.
Eloise and her kitten sweaters and adorable glasses have me thinking about her in a whole different way…
Eloise
I’m not your typical nerd girl. Instead of video games, I love football. I’ve landed my dream job managing social media for my favorite team, but with Dakota North as quarterback it’s a 24/7 job. When I’m told I have to spend a week making sure Dak doesn’t tweet, he seems determined to use that time to flirt with me.
I have to ask myself, what is more important- losing my virginity to a bad boy quarterback or keeping my perfect job?
The things I've lost could shatter any man. Send him on a downward spiral. I would've punched my own ticket if it weren't for the Satan's Knights. Instead, I became the VP of the Knightdale Charter. A man can't drown in his misery when he's got responsibilities. So I look for things to dull the pain. Sex. Drugs. Whatever. When you've been to hell and back, the only time worth having is a good one. My little Birdie knows this self-destructive path, too. That's why I can't stay away from her. The highs are higher when you don't fly alone. But I'm not the only ghost in her life, and her past isn't letting her go. I thought my club was the only thing left for me to love. It turns out I was wrong.

He’s not the man she thought he was. But when danger lurks, he’s the man she needs.
Any rookie on the force could verify if Charmed! is a legit etiquette school for businessmen, or…something else. But coming off a wrenching drug bust, Detective Kane McDermott’s captain gave him a choice. Take the fluff case, or take enforced time off.
The moment Kane meets Kayla Luck, he's in trouble. She’s fierce, keen-eyed intelligence in a body built for sin. And when they touch, the jolt of desire reminds him it’s never wise to mix police work with pleasure.
Kayla is used to handling men who are more focused on her curves than her mind. But when her newest client arrives for lessons in foreign language and business etiquette, she’s the one who can’t tear her eyes off all those muscles wrapped in a sexy, double-breasted suit.
Dinner out leads to a hot night in bed, and Kayla falls hard and fast. Until she learns the business suit hides a badge, and she calls it quits. But Kane’s already lost his heart—and discovered she’s in danger. And if he can’t convince her she’s safe with him, he’ll lose the woman he loves.
He runs in high society circles…and he’s running circles around her heart.
In retrospect, it was all Gran’s fault.
Logan Montgomery has found his niche as an assistant district attorney. But Gran just revealed some worrying intel—dear old dad and his political cronies are about to maneuver him into running for mayor.
But Gran has a plan. A pre-emptive strike involving a pretty blonde caterer with supple curves—and a family history literally dripping with scandal. There’s just one flaw in his grandmother's scheme: Logan’s not a player. And there’s delicious spark of attraction that makes him want to try for something special with Catherine Luck.
It’s a mystery to Catherine why Logan, who sits at the very top of the social ladder, would even look twice at someone like her. Maybe he has a thing for disgraced, overworked caterers. But his gentle concern, delivered in that velvety chocolate voice, can’t be real and Cat knows better than to mix business with pleasure.
Raw desire and genuine affection unexpectedly tip them into forbidden territory—love. Until Catherine gets a stark reminder that the Montgomerys never do anything without an ulterior motive.
Which means Catherine’s luck in love is about to run out…
Do the job. Take the money and run. Until, in a flash, love changes everything.
In retrospect, Ben Callahan should have known this job was trouble.
Way more than his normal P.I. fee and unlimited expenses, just to watch over one woman and report back? Alarm bells should have sent him running back to New York. But with his Mom needing assisted living care, Ben takes Emma Montgomery’s tempting offer to watch over her granddaughter.
Then he meets Grace, a golden-haired princess. Gifted, gorgeous, reckless. And a serious threat to his sanity as well as his libido.
Determined to prove she can support herself with her camera, Grace Montgomery hasn’t touched her trust fund in months. It’s a struggle, but she’s free—free of stifling small-town society, free to do what she wants. And right now, she wants to explore her long-repressed sexuality with her hot new neighbor.
As Grace sheds her inhibitions faster than a high-speed shutter, Ben finds himself breaking his own rules for a woman full of unexpected secrets and thousand-watt sensuality. But when Grace discovers who’s signing Ben’s paycheck, her heart could be too broken for his love to repair.
It all started with a not-so-innocent sprig of mistletoe…
In retrospect, Rina Lowell should have known that Emma Montgomery’s mistletoe was a matchmaking ploy.
Rina is new to Ashford, to her newspaper job, to her whole life. And she can’t wait to write “Hot Stuff”, a series of columns that will definitively pin down what men really want.
When Emma maneuvers her under that pesky sprig of evergreen with Ashford’s prodigal son, Rina can’t resist the chance to plant one on that dark-haired, blue-eyed man’s sensual mouth. She never expected that kiss to go down like a shot of fine tequila. The man is perfect for her, or so she thinks.
When his adoptive father Joe falls ill, globetrotting news reporter Colin Lyons doesn’t hesitate to drop everything to fly home and take over Joe’s baby, theAshford Times. Which, Colin discovers, is veering away from hard news to sexy, smutty fluff. Something he can’t let happen.
He’s only got until New Year’s to save this sinking ship, and to do that, he needs an ally. Rina, with her sparkling brown eyes and frumpy clothes that make his fingers itch to discover what’s underneath, is the perfect target to help him. Even if it means the job she loves will be cut in the end.
He never expected one kiss to take his simple plan to save theTimes and tie it into impossible knots… and possibly cost him the woman he loves.
