SYNOPSIS:

Whose bed is this?
That was Kensie first thought as she peeled her eyes open to find herself in an unfamiliar room. She noted the crumpled red dress, tiny black thong, and Louboutin heels in the corner.
Whose arms are these?
That was her second as the tattooed arms engulfing her tightened their grip. Her phone buzzed on the nightstand. Carefully, without waking up the man behind her, she reached for it. The name on the display read Prince Charming.
“Hello?”
“How are you still asleep at one in the afternoon?” Trey’s familiar baritone rang in her ear.
“Long night,” she rasped. The man behind her chuckled. His mouth warm on her ear.
“Well, wake up, my flight leaves in an hour, and I can’t wait to see you.”
“I can’t wait,” she said weakly.
What have I done?
That was her third thought as the weight of her recklessness consumed her.
She cheated.
She was a cheater.

My Thoughts:

Kensington “Kensie” Roth is questioning herself after agreeing to a night out. Carter “CT” Thayer has the bad boy act down perfectly. You could almost think of this as good girl versus bad boy and who’s going to come out on top. If you were to look up the definition of temptation, you would find CT’s name in there somewhere.

We have a woman who has a hard time listening to her heart. She’d been through some things that made her listen with her head and stop listening to that important organ that let’s us find love. But she has a man in her life that seems to be a real jerk. In a way you do have to feel sorry for him but… CT is pure temptation and he isn’t sorry about that and he’s that apple that you just have to take a bite out of. It was interesting to see their two worlds collide – how do these authors come up with these twists. A great incentive to turn the page. I found the ending interesting but what was more interesting is what the author adds in after that. What this means for you is that don’t let the two words “The End” stop you from continuing. It’s not an extra ending but an interesting twist – one you don’t want to miss.

EXCERPT:
"This is going to be rough, Friend," he growled.
She moaned, wiggling back against him. She needed it rough. She needed him to fuck all the worry and doubt and anxiety out of her body.
Carter pulled back, drawing out his length, then slammed back inside of her. His nails dug into her flesh as he plowed into her over and over, thrusting faster and harder each time until he was pumping into her so wildly she could barely stay on her feet. The noises that escaped his mouth were animalistic. He was lost in her and she was completely at his mercy.
Her arms were all but useless as she struggled to hold herself up. Her head jerked back as Carter pulled her up into a standing position, then quickly slipped his erection back inside her warmth. One arm circled her waist and his other hand rested firmly around her neck. "Do you trust me?"
"Yes." Totally, madly, implicitly.
With knees bent, Carter thrusted into her pussy. The movement forced Kensie onto her tiptoes. He was deeper than anyone had ever been before, so deep she teetered on the line between pain and pleasure. Each thrust sent a wave of vibrations to her core. The pressure built. A layer of sweat coated her body. The pleasure tore through her like lightning across the night sky. Carter’s hand flexed around her throat and her eyes shot open. Panic mixed with unmatched passion woke every nerve in her body as she clawed at him. "Relax, baby. Just let go."
And she did. His words were her undoing. She fucking lost her mind. She was lost in him, lost to anyone but him.
