Blurb:

I'm a madman...she's my cure.

Once upon a time there was a devil and his bride.
His hell awaited her while she tried to hide.
He found her and trapped her inside.
Where she had no choice but to stay at his side.

Madman's Cure is book 2 of the Madman Duet and should be read after Madman's Method.

 My Thoughts:

Cassandra Scott will have you on the edge of your seat right from the beginning. Our author was very smart in the way she keeps her readers in the dark. It’s an original way in keeping us engaged. We get background glimpses into the past of one of our characters that will shed light into how he came to be. It’s also a great way to keep the reader guessing.

You might think that you’re going to start the duet here but the word “duet” should give you a hint. In revealing a character’s past it gives you an explanation of where he’s coming from. You need to experience him just as the author has created him. Otherwise it would be like reading the end of a book first.

If I had to pick something that I didn’t seem to see as believable, it would have to be how intellect and language used by someone so young. Not sure a child’s impressions would be so detailed. But fiction is just that – not everything may feel realistic or believable. It’s a vehicle that shows the author’s creativity.

Other times, things seemed so realistic that at the very least it may cause you to cringe. This is a very twisted tale that you will really need to pay attention to – you might miss something if you blink. But you may need to put it down and walk away because it becomes painful since the author does such a great job in creating pictures in my mind. Reading it before you go to bed may not be the best idea – especially if you don’t do well with horror movies. When all is said and done I was actually sad to see the end come. Good news is that I can check out our author’s other work.

She calls me a madman...I call her mine.

Madman's Method by V.F. Mason is dark, twisted and addicting!

About the Author:

V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn’t happen. Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it. When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.
