My Thoughts:

Tessa has dreams that seem to be on the back burner. Tristan wishes his life was a little bit different. There are two other characters here that are a part of both Tessa and Tristan’s life. They seem to appear at just the right moments. In their own ways, they help to move the story along.

We have two people that have a history but have moved apart. This may be something that you can relate too. The author creates scenes that may have you wonder “what if?” One of the secondary characters always has me thinking “b**ch”. Sorry to those that are a part of Batchelor or Batchelorette nation, but I can see her fitting into that world perfectly. It was easy for me to turn the page just to see if she gets what’s coming to her.

Not sure if the author planned it but the release comes out at the perfect time now that football season is here. This could be something that if your significant other loves the game, you could be reading while the game is playing in the background. It also comes out at a time when one certain ex-Patriot is in the news. But Tessa’s side of this story felt just a little more important and you may figure that out by the time you get to the end of the story. Can’t wait to see what the next book has in store.
