I’m not interested in the ones who are a decade older than me. I want nothing to do with the ones who play on the same team as my brothers, and I certainly avoid the ones who spend more time in strip clubs than kids’ clubs.

He’s in a tight spot, and I’m intrigued by the illicit under the dinner table action that proved to me he’s nothing but trouble. He’s hot and I’m bored. He doesn’t do relationships, and I’m just looking for some fun.
Except fun is taking a quick turn into real feelings, and now I’m in a tight spot of my own.

My Thoughts:
This book is part of the Vegas Aces franchise but you don’t need to read the other books in order to enjoy what the author has created here. But by the end, you may find yourself wondering what you may have missed. One thing Ms. Suzanne does, is feed into my conception of what a football player may do in his down time.
In one way she pays tribute to a young woman starting out in a tough profession. It can be frustrating, and having been a substitute I know some of what the author wrote about. I feel she adds in some realism both with that and how people may see some that work in a high-profile profession.
By the time I got to the end, I knew I couldn’t stop there. Our author can’t leave me on the edge of a cliff without wanting to solve the mystery. What was smart, on her part, was that she has book two coming out at the same time. Only time will tell if this train is going to get to the station or just begin to build up steam.

My Thoughts:
The book continues where Tight Spot left off. This is a good indication that this series must be read in order. But if you've already read the first book, you know that you can’t stop there. There are secrets to be solved and we’ve got a front row seat.
The author may write her story around a sport but that isn’t the main theme and it doesn’t stop the steam. Our couple seem to be fighting some inner turmoil and are trying to figure out what they each want. I liked how Kaylee was finally able to stick up for herself. Ben has some issues that prevent him from moving forward but is Kaylee the push he needs. Does our author use that steam to their advantage?
One thing that came through, that I didn’t really see in the first book, is how young she really is. It brings home the age difference of the main characters. But it works in the author’s favor because we notice the difference and how it might affect any type of relationship. And that also includes any ups and downs that can be brought on due to being famous.
We also get to see a family that works together to solve a problem. I’m glad this train has slowed down because I'm not ready for this journey to end. I can’t wait to see where Tight Fit is going to take me.
