My Thoughts:
The book continues where Tight Hold left off. This is just one more indication that this is a series that must be read in order. But if you've already read the first two books, you know that you can’t stop there. Our author is good at building suspense and writing something that you won’t want to put down. She also gave me some interesting birthday ideas. You want to know? You'll have to read the book.
We get to see more of the main character’s budding relationship. We get to see Ben without the football persona. He reveals some of what he feels in his heart and those that are special to him. We also get to see what’s in Kaylee’s heart. There’s also some insecurity on both sides.
The author is smart in how she has created this series. I won’t say it’s like a soap opera because that vibe just doesn’t fit. It’s not like those couple reality shows because this couple is so much better. They aren’t predictable where the reality couples are. Both have drama going on but I’d rather read this author’s drama any day. Their life is a tough one and the author just seems to know how to make it even tougher. I can’t wait to see what will be in store for us in Tight Laced.
