I’m not misunderstood.
I’m not confused about my position in life.
I’m not looking for answers to explain why I am the way I am.
This is the logic others use to try to make sense of me. According to them, there has to be a reason for my apathy. There has to be some sort of explanation for the calculating way I run my Club. There has to be a root cause for my depravity.
They can’t wrap their heads around the fact that I’m evil, that I’m darkness personified. Doing so would force them to acknowledge that the Devil has left Hell and is living among them.
Most people may think I’m Satan, but I answer to Lynch, President of the Ravens Ruin MC, and the Antichrist doesn’t have sh*t on me.

My Thoughts:
Eric “Lynch” Jenkins has me wondering what I missed – and that’s
right from the beginning. Then I find
out later that this is book one so then I figure I need to put my Sherlock
Holmes hat on and do some investigating. Maybe this ties in to another book or
series. Zoe “Candi” Clark has a list of
things she’s trying to accomplish. And
let me tell you that it gets a lot hotter from there.
Lynch is a man who commands attention and it doesn’t matter if
it’s his men or the women that hang around the club. His business is questionable but that will
feed in what we feel we know about the people that run an MC. Candi is a hard character to figure out and
that’s fine by me. It’s a great
incentive to keep reading. These are two
characters that are so far apart it’s hard to figure out what the attraction
is. But the author does a great job in
trying to show me what the allure might be.
It was hard to believe that this was the first book in the Ravens Ruin MC. I felt going in that this was a continuation
from something previous. That’s where
I’ll need my hat. It was hard to believe
that I hadn’t heard of this author before but I’m very glad that has finally
changed. And when I saw whose story was
coming next I had no choice but to put it on my TBR. Sadly I have to wait until after the new year
but I’m sure it will be well worth the wait.
