BLURB:
Pop-rock singer Tamsin Keller likes to dominate, but when she breaks up with her cheating ex-boyfriend, she visits BDSM club Dante’s for another reason—to submit.
Her experience is heightened when she locks eyes with a mysterious stranger, who turns out to be rock star and Dominant Aspen LaRoche. Fascinated by Tamsin, he invites her to his holiday home for the weekend and Tamsin accepts, hoping to discover more about her submissive side.
Aspen proves to be an expert tutor, and Tamsin finds herself addicted to the pleasures he shows her. When Aspen also discovers she is a singer, he offers her band an audition with his recording company, and Tamsin jumps at the chance, knowing he can provide opportunities that she has never had before.
But when Tamsin’s jealous ex reappears in her life, will Tamsin’s career and happiness be over, or will this be the start of something for both her and Aspen?

My Thoughts:
Loved the author’s dedication – we have something in common. I was going to listen to the band while reading but I got hooked and forgot to put my playlist on. That just means a do-over.
Tamsin decides she’s going to do something for herself. Then she receives a request she can’t resist. Aspen seems to be caught in a web of his making. Our author creates main characters that are so believable. Their chemistry seems to be almost immediate.
If you like steam with your stories, you will get that here. Besides the steam, there are two adults enjoying scenes of BDSM. This is something to take into consideration before you pick up this book. Alot is left to the reader’s imagination due to the length. It’s a book that you can finish in just a couple of hours. Our author has stepped up her game in this series. I can’t wait to see where she plans to take Rock My World next.

EXCERPT:
Aspen’s private plane was small, but with an interior that made her think of a first-class airliner, not that she had ever been able to fly first class. The seats were velvet, as were the curtains. Everywhere she looked there seemed to be something edged with gold. Her suitcase had been taken from her as soon as she arrived by a smartly dressed young man with wire-framed glasses. She had immediately been shown to her seat and offered a cocktail.
Fittingly, it had been a candyfloss martini. Apparently Aspen took notes.
Sitting across the aisle was a young woman about her own age, dressed from head to toe in yellow, white-blonde hair spilling over a fur-lined collar. Her huge sunglasses made it impossible to see much of her face, but her nose was pointed and her lips were painted in a red lipstick that almost leant towards orange. She hadn’t spoken to anyone but Aspen before boarding the plane, and the impression of her was so intimidating that Tamsin hadn’t dared strike up a conversation.
Her name was Izzie, apparently, and her cocktail of choice was something made with mandarin orange.
Tamsin felt her phone buzz in her pocket. As they hadn’t yet taken off, she took it out and inwardly winced at the name on the screen. Jackson again.
Babe, just call me. I’m sorry.
She deleted the text and blocked the number. Before she could put the phone away, two more texts lit up the screen.
Ryan’s first.
Have a good weekend with Aspen. I hope you’re okay.
And Jil’s.
Next rehearsal is on Tuesday. Have fun with your new guy.
Tamsin rolled her eyes. New guy, indeed. She had kept the conversation deliberately limited as to information when she had let her bandmates know where she was going, not wanting them to start nagging her to ask Aspen for a recording contract. She supposed it was only natural they would assume he was a new romance, especially since she had told them about breaking up with Jackson.
Somehow she didn’t think Aspen had romance in mind, whatever else he was planning. That was fine by her. Her heart didn’t feel entirely broken, but instead…numb.

Author Bio:
I first started writing seriously when my tutor on a creative writing course pointed me towards the Romantic Novelists' Association and their New Writers' Scheme. Thanks to them, my debut novel "The Hand He Dealt" was accepted by Total-e-Bound in 2011 and was nominated for the Joan Hessayon Award for 2012. I haven't stopped writing since.
My new novella in the Rock My World series, "Hyperventilating", will be out on 21st June 2022 and the second in the series, "The Start of Something", will be out on 27th December 2022.
When I'm not writing, I love to read historical fiction and non-fiction as well as anything paranormal. I love to sing, watch horror movies and go to rock concerts. I also have two cats who like to hide all day and then destroy the house at night.
