My Thoughts:
Make sure to not rush in order to get to the story. The author has written a warning for her readers that must be noted.
Ellie knows that the limelight isn’t for her. She’s one of those people that would prefer to stay in the background where she hopes to remain invisible. Jafar is possessive when he has no right to be. He has an itch that he’s not sure how to scratch.
If you are a reader that likes darker tales. How about a tale where you question who may be on the good end of the scale and who is happy to be at the other end. How about a character that may not be model thin but a woman who may have curves like you. You’ll find hints of fairy tales, just not something the younger ones can read.
This is a book that I read in one day. I couldn’t help myself, stayed up late but it was worth it. Once I started, I was hooked and was not going to stop until the last word was read. Nothing was going to interrupt my enjoyment. But sadly there was a roadblock. It’s called a cliffhanger. And I’m left wanting the next story now.
