My Thoughts:

The author dropped a shoe at the end of Tight Fit so starting the series here would be like starting at the middle of a book – not a good idea. It would be like going to a party and then wondering “what did I miss?”. Shoes come in pairs so the beginning, of this latest book, may have you wondering if we’ll see the other one and that just helps in getting you to turn the page. 

This seemed to be the most serious of all the books. It’s one where you’ll feel sorry for the main characters. There seems to be a hole developing which may have you wondering who will fall in and who will be safe. Our author is also very good at knowing just the right moment to lighten the mood. But her ending stopped me in my tracks. 

By the time you get to here, you should be able to understand why Ben and Kaylee’s story could not be contained in one book. It’s like any good soap opera – plenty of drama and steam. And also like a soap opera, the story continues at a regular interval – you finish one and the next is ready and waiting.  I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen in Tight End.
