My Thoughts:
Venom has a grandmother I’d like to meet. Expect to laugh but don’t say “sap” to his face. Loralei will join in to our chucklefest. It’s at this point where you’ll realize this author is going to give us a great time. Make no mistake, she knows how to heat up the pages.
You will quickly learn that this is an addiction you won’t mind having. It will be very hard to put down. But I think this book needs to come with a warning, “do not attempt to read before going to work”. I lost track of the time because I got sucked into what was going on. Even had one of my crime shows on and that couldn’t pull my attention away.
It’s a holiday story but not. There are hints of a holiday and there’s that name in the title. But this is a book that you can read at any time. There is an age gap but it’s nothing that will creep you out. I find it’s more of one person having more life experience then the other. They are two people who have differences but they also have some things in common. If you’ve never read this author before and love a good MC read, then you will want to check out this short read. It left me wondering if I will see them again. Looking forward to finding out.
