My Thoughts:
As the story goes on I begin to wonder if we will see more of Ryder. Someone else that makes an appearance is Nic. I also wondered what his story was. The good news with that is his story was the first book in this series titled Boyfriend For Hire. More good news is that you don’t need to read it first in order to enjoy Case and Sienna’s story. But what about Ryder?
The author has created some great one-liners that will have you laughing out loud. Just goes to show how much you will be entertained at Case’s expense. But in a way it seems realistic because I could picture someone in his profession doing exactly what Case does here. Of course my brain tried to insert reality by wondering how come law enforcement wasn’t knocking down his door. But then I had to keep reminding it that this is a total work of fiction.
If you’ve enjoyed Ms. Ryan’s work in the past, you’ll find this will be a good addition to your library. It’s light. It’s humorous. It’s got plenty of heat. And it will make you curious as to what this series is about. I’ve come to enjoy reading a story from the point of view of the character. We get more of an understanding as to what they are thinking and feeling. At times, they may even seem as if they are talking directly to us – getting us involved in the scene. Which is what will hook you into what this business is about.
