Harlow has a great friend but she likes to push her buttons. Her friend picks up on something she tries not to act on. Corey may feel like a fish out of water but will the fish turn into a shark. If you like a story with plenty of emotion than you’ll be able to sink your teeth into this one.
If you like stories that crossover into another world then the author will do that for you. This may be part of her Rebel Ink series but it’s also a part of another author’s world. So you’re getting two for the price of one. If you’ve not read the author’s series then this will be a great introduction. If you know who K. Bromberg is then you may know her Driven series. But if you don’t that’s ok too because it may give you an incentive to see what that world is about.
This is not a short read so you’ll have plenty to sink your teeth into. Hard part was finding the perfect stopping point – that's when I wished that I had a day off. It was nice to get toward the end and have a chuckle moment. It was a pleasant surprise but it just adds to what I’ve come to learn about Harlow and Corey. They compliment each other and with all the ups and downs they were perfect for me.
