My Thoughts:
Tabitha “Tabby” Green is a free spirit. As I get to know her, she seems to act like
others expect her to. Plus she feels
like she doesn’t deserve anything good that may come her way – that’s just
sad. On the one hand she’s a business
savvy woman but on the other I think she’s scared. Charles “Chad” Tucker is trying to come to
terms with his past. And he hopes his
job will help with that. He’s a man that
just doesn’t want to give up. I’m glad
that he wants to fight for his happiness.
The author has included a real cutie pie and she’ll steal both
your heart and the scene. But the author
knows just when she needs to rein her in because that would change the tone of
the story. Her mother was both a good
character and a good mother – I’m glad she was a friend to Tabby. When a character seems so real and at the
same time touch your heart, you know that the author has done a good job. They take something fictitious and with the
right creativity make something that could actually exist. She also created something that I didn’t want
to put down. I had to know that Tabby’s
world was going to be ok. And I get an
ending that I thought was perfect for our couple.
