Jenna Block is in something of a quandary over how she’s going to
reinvent herself. Slade Bower and
Mustang Jackson are friends who also happen to work together. These two seem to be all about the good times
they have and the women that make it happen.
They seem to be a tag team going after the same prize. But what makes this story interesting is waiting
to see if there’s a clear winner.
What this author is good at is keeping the reader guessing – or me
at least. It didn’t happen right away
but eventually I got hooked and it was because of Mustang needling Slade – I
loved how Mustang could get under Slade’s skin.
As far as Jenna, I felt bad that she’s in an industry where in order for
her to stay relevant she has to reinvent herself. But I loved how she took the bull by the
horns – sorry for the pun – and really got to enjoy her research. It might have made my college years more
enjoyable.
This story is not for the vanilla reader. It lets you know exactly what these men like
to do as well as the women. Erotic may
not be the best description – hot as hell may be a better one or even smoking
hot. Once I really got into the story,
it is one that I can see reading more than once. Especially once I’ve gone through the whole
series.
