Disclosure of Material Connection:  I received this book for review from Grey’s Promotions and the author.  I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review.  The opinions I have expressed are my own.  I am posting this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR, Part 255:  "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising".

My mind hates what my body craves.

I have a secret.
A deep and painful secret that has been feasting on my insides.
Clawing at my heart and lacerating it in a slow and painful agony.

If Wyatt thinks that he can just walk into my life and rattle things up,
he's got another thing coming.

He's nothing to me.
Scum.
Dirt.
As good as dead.

You see, I have a secret, but so does he.
It's my turn to get my revenge,
and I can already taste the sweetness on the tip of my tongue.
No questions asked.
My secret stays mine.

His, however, is about to go up in flames.
I'll love nothing more than to watch him burn.

He better look out,
because this vandal is about to paint his world blood red.

Vandal is an MM romance with hate speech and content that may be uncomfortable for some readers. While each book in the series ends with an HEA, this is NOT a standalone and the series must be read in order. Start the series with Striker: A Dark Bully Romance.

My Thoughts:

The Prologue is a great reminder that this story is not a standalone.  Things get revealed that would affect your reading – it would be like starting a book three quarters of the way through.

Tommy is very expressive and shows it in a very creative way.  He has a lot of anger inside but it was interesting to watch how he changed over the course of the story.  Wyatt is very good at understanding people.  He has had to deal with a lot of things from a few people and that just shows how strong a person he is.  We get to see characters that we met in the previous two books.  They’re still dealing with issues that were brought up in the first two books which is another reminder not to start the series here.

This group may be in high school but this is not for the young adult reader – unless the parent reads first in order to make an informed decision.  It’s a story where a lot of discoveries are made.  Even though each book builds on the story before it, they all are unique in their own right.  In this book, the mystery is what held my attention and left me looking forward to book four.  Then there’s the Epilogue that has left me on the edge.
