Blurb:

Sometimes love needs a second chance…

I never looked back after skipping out on my own wedding, even if it did leave me estranged from most of my family. Eight years later, I have the life I’ve always wanted. As an advertising account executive, my world is damn near perfect.

Until I come face-to-face with my past. With the man I once loved. The man who holds my future in his hands. The man who’s hell-bent on getting even with me for leaving him at the altar.

Even with all the unfinished business between us, I still love Knox Montgomery. The only problem?

He loves me…KNOT.

My Thoughts:

Knox Montgomery seems to have a single minded purpose.  When I first meet him, I thought how glad I was that Emma Jane has dodged that bullet.  He makes me wish that we were in close proximity.  Knox has a friend named Wells that I truly wanted to hate.  It was hard to though because he kept making me laugh so I decided that he can’t be all that bad.

Emma Jane Haywood is a woman who has no choice but to face her past.  This was an enjoyable story about second chances.  It’s a story where a woman and man can just be friends.  But it becomes funny when said friend makes the interested party jealous.  I swear I have met Becket Jones before but I just can’t figure out from where.  Maybe if you read this book you’ll be able to see if you feel the same.  Even though I was sad to see this story end, I was glad to see that we’ll get to see Becket again in Ditched.  Bad news is I don’t know when in 2018 this will be coming out.  But I enjoy reading this author’s work so I’ll have no trouble being patient until it does hit my library.
