My Thoughts:
Julia “Jules” Bennett is being tormented by someone she
knows. You can almost feel the fear
coming off the pages. You can also feel
her insecurities. Jules shows how tough
it is for an ordinary person to have a relationship with a celebrity. Dash Ford is in love with a woman that
frustrates him. He shows how tough his
lifestyle is in having a long distance relationship.
The author shows that Jules wants to be strong but she’s had an
experience where someone she cared about beat her down so bad that she’s
insecure in herself as a woman. But with
the right person, who’s very patient, they can help you come slowly out of your
shell.
This is a story that continues where the first book left off. It would help if you read Sex, Desires & Rock N’ Roll before
starting this story. You would better
understand the character of Julia Bennett and book two may seem less confusing. If you don’t read book one first, you may
wonder what’s up with one of the secondary characters. So it’s more of personal preference.
This would be a great book to have music playing in the
background. If you have a band you love
to listen to, their music will help to set the mood. We’re taken along as a rock group is on
tour. Can you imagine the fun in that –
the places you would visit? A happy
ending is nice but it also leaves you enough room to fantasize.
