My Thoughts:

Jackson Stone is someone who wants to connect with family.  I liked how the authors have made the storyline seem so real.  All families are not cut and dried.  We all don’t all try to aspire to be like the Reed’s – and most of you probably don’t even know whom I’m talking about (it’s a generational thing).  Back in the day things were simple.  Drugs are becoming more of a problem that affects family life.  This story shows what can happen once the children have grown and made a life for themselves.

Tara Kent is a woman who cares about the people she works for.  She has a boss that you hope exists.  He really cares about people and goes out of his way to help them improve themselves and rewards them when most people would either look the other way or just give up on them.  I’d like to think that there are a few people like him out there.  He is the man that started this series off.  If this will be your first book, make sure to go back and check out Dirty Sexy Saint.

Tara and Jackson are two characters that have family issues but that doesn’t stop them from making a connection.  It’s a very steamy relationship too.  Their relationship looks beyond a person’s foibles and gets to the heart of what’s inside.  What a person does or their economic status has no part in what they feel for the other.  This is a story where I could feel the connection of all the characters and can’t wait to go back and read this series from beginning to end.  The only thing I can’t tell you is if there will be a book five.  I didn’t get a sense at the ending of this book if the Dirty Sexy Series will continue.
