Life threw me a curveball. An adorable eight-pound, four-ounce curveball with her mother’s eyes and my dark hair. I’d like to think my single-dad game is strong, but honestly? I’ve been struggling a little.
When a beautiful young woman moves in next door and offers to give me a hand, I jump at the chance to hire her as a nanny. Jessa is amazing with my daughter. She’s also patient, kind, and way too pretty.

My Thoughts:
Connor will tug at your heart when you are first introduced to him. Jessa is willing to help when someone is in need. Our author was very creative with this book. It starts with Connor; his life, his job, and how he’s currently dealing with things. Then we have Jessa. Her life starts with an adventure but then her world collides with Connor.
As a reader, you may wonder how these two connect. The author makes it seem so easy. Every time that Connor gets together with friends they all seem so relaxed around each other that you almost feel like you’re being included in their get-together. It also seems natural to see that Jessa has been included. You won’t want to see anything that may upset the apple cart.
This author knows how to get her readers to laugh. She does it with such ease – she must have been a real hoot growing up. If you’re a fan of rom-coms then this is a perfect fit. I have to say that I found Connor cute and it was fun to watch him become uncomfortable. A few scenes may get you to blush and if you have some younger ones around I think you’ll want to be careful with your explanation as to why. There was nothing bad that I could say about this book and I can’t wait for more.
