Grab Your Copy Here! My Thoughts: Nathan is a man who seems to be all about business. He shows that not everything you see is the whole truth – especially when it comes to the press. Madison wants to prove that she’s good at what she does and shouldn’t be compared to anybody else. They meet at a special event and have me wondering if hookups at a gathering can lead anywhere. It was a great way to hold my attention. If you are one that can read and listen to the book at the same time, I applaud you. I tried with this book and I ended up listening instead because I just couldn’t keep up with the words – kept getting distracted. Shane East does a great job in bringing Nathan to life. He gives me the accent that I’m missing when I try to do the reading. This was my first book with Clare Corbett as a narrator and I don’t think it will be my last. She also gives me the accent that I just cannot do. She also helped me put a visual, in my mind, as to what Madison may look like. I’m a hard audience member when it comes to getting me to laugh and that includes when reading a book. The narrators help me to at least chuckle when the moment arrives. They help to keep things light which helps to move the scenes along. When reading, the author shows the connection that quickly builds between her main characters. But narrators give the reader that little bit extra that really shows what is starting to happen between them. The bad thing about a book is that there just seems to be too many distractions that can take you away from a good read and then you have to settle back down once you’re able to get back to it. An audiobook can be taken anywhere. You just need something to put in your ears – it’s a great way to concentrate on the scenes as they come and go. I like that I have both the book and the audio version but for convenience’s sake the audiobook will win out. The narrators also help to connect me to the mystery that revolves around some people that Nathan knows. The author is good at keeping the mystery going until almost the very end. It’s another way to hold her reader’s attention. And it’s a great way to have us looking forward to what type of ending the she has in store for us. Her narrators help with that ending as well. My Thoughts:

Autumn is feeling a little out of her element.  We have a young woman finding work across the pond.  Gabriel is a man who plays into some American’s perception of how a British man may behave – stiff upper lip. He’s a man trying to do everything but is finally willing to have some help.

Our author has given us a sweet romance with just the right amount of heat.  Add in a child, and in some cases an animal, and my heart gets attached.  It’s a story that gets you to relax and enjoy the storytelling.  It takes you on a trip where you can wear your pajamas if you so wish.  You can travel without costing you the price of a plane ticket.  You could go on a picnic, take this book with you, and enjoy both the weather and getting to know this author’s characters.

If you’ve ever wanted to go to another country to work, Autumn will do all the work for you.  Not everything is happy because in real life we all have ups and downs.  The only thing that’s going to make my happiness level go up is getting the audiobook and have some voices for the characters I came to enjoy.  This is one of those books that I can see myself reading more than once.
