Treasured Find (Royal Pride #1)

Sometimes the greatest finds are unexpected.
After five centuries, Rafe Alexander knows what to expect from life--boredom broken by the occasional call from Shifter Affairs. No matter how mundane the job, he always accepts their plea for help. He knows what it's like to lose loved ones to the shifter trafficking rings decimating their species.
But the task that takes him to West Virginia changes everything. A human is dead. A shifter child is missing. And the human female connected to both tragedies is hiding a secret.
He needs to discover the mystery surrounding her. But the felines he houses--lion, tiger and jaguar--want him to get close to her for another reason. Jasmine is special, both for how she affects him and for the treasure she's been guarding.
And as danger mounts, he's left balancing his desire for revenge and his need to protect. But the line between them isn't always black and white, especially where his family is concerned.

Beautiful Mistake (Royal Pride #2)

A tortured man...A fearless woman...A mistake that'll change their lives forever.
Three centuries ago, Devin Moore sacrificed his sanity to save his sister. Every day since is spent in a constant battle of wills with the three crazed cats--lion, tiger and jaguar--he houses. Keeping his shattered mind together has taken its toll, destroying any hope of having a family, but he can't turn his back on innocents in need.
When information on his pride's missing child reaches him, he rushes to bring her home. But the rescue mission goes horribly wrong. Lena, the human female who turns herself into bait in order to protect the little girl, is wounded and struggling to survive.
In a desperate act, he saves Lena. But it doesn't erase his past mistakes. And for a broken man who's finally offered hope, there's only one thing left to do--prove his worth. The only problem? He'll never be whole. Or sane. But maybe...just maybe...even the damned can find peace.

Favorite Obsession (Royal Pride #3)

Centuries after what should have been a blessing from a goddess, Mira has gone from the chosen daughter to a woman shamed. She's found a tentative peace among her family and the females they've chosen to mate. And despite the potentially fatal consequences, Mira has found the one thing she never thought she'd have—love. Josh is the only male she's ever wanted, desired and burned for, and he's the only man she can never hope to keep.
One glance into Mira's exotic feline eyes and Josh is lost. She's everything he never knew he wanted and loving her becomes a passion he can't deny. The obstacles keeping them apart seem insurmountable, but Josh knows he's the man Mira needs. With every passionate encounter, every stolen touch, his certainty that he and Mira belong together grows. He'll defy every shifter decree and fight to his dying breath to convince those around them of the truth—Mira belongs to him, mind, body and soul.

About Nancy Corrigan:

A true romantic at heart, Nancy Corrigan is convinced there's a knight in shining armor for every woman (or man), but you won't find damsels in distress in her stories. She adores pairing alpha heroes with women strong enough to match them and bring them to their knees. She also enjoys flipping the traditional roles in romances because her motto is—love and people should never be forced to conform to anyone's norm.
She holds a degree in chemistry and has worked in research but now focuses on ensuring quality. She considers it the perfect outlet for her as she's the first to admit she has some OCD tendencies. It carries over into her writing life too. While engrossed in a novel, she has a habit of forgetting to eat and sleep. Fortunately, she's married to her own knight in shining armor who understands her oddities and loves her anyway. They reside in Pennsylvania with their three children, dog, snake and guinea pigs. Her other interests include tattoos, animals, classic cars and all things spooky and sexy.

Synopsis

Their bond is heaven on earth...but it could tear their pack apart.

Ethan Jager is forced to hide behind a false identity as his pack mates suffer under Michael Tanner's rule. It's not his choice; he was born broken, without the primitive urge to breed driving him to pick a mate.

While his wolf sleeps, his heart has chosen for him: Noah, widower and fellow pack dominant.

Everything changes the day Hannah Kagan smiles at him. Lust awakens his wolf--a first. Hannah is beautiful, loyal, kind, everything an alpha male should want. And mating her will allow him to reclaim his pack. It will also leave his soul with a giant hole when he's forced to rip Noah out of his life.

Hard choices are required of alpha males, but choosing which lover to let go is one Ethan refuses to make. The alternative will not only change the pack, but transform their world...if he can keep his mates alive long enough to claim them both.

Warning: Contains an alpha male whose wolf doesn't like to share his toys, a dominant female who's nobody's plaything, and a beta male who doesn't roll over for anyone. Also: speed dating, werewolf style. Band-Aids required.

“Are you done imagining what I would look like naked, or do you want me to stand here longer?” His rough voice zinged through her, setting her on edge. Not in a bad way. Awareness settled low. She ignored the instant arousal and yanked her gaze to his face. Green eyes framed by dark lashes snared her attention.
She inhaled sharply. Never before had she seen a shifter with green eyes. The rare gene offered power, just as the combination of her black hair and blue eyes gifted her with strength.
She let her gaze map his face as she had his body. Dark blond hair set off the deep emerald color of his eyes and framed a harsh face, but his shaggy locks softened his features. She doubted he’d styled it on purpose for the effect. The uneven ends gave the impression he’d hacked it off with scissors and didn’t give a shit if it looked nice or not.
The shadow of his beard added to the image of indifference. The uneven growth covered his cheeks, chin, and neck. Her fingertips itched to touch his jaw and see if the stubble had reached the point of softness or if it would tickle her skin and make her squirm. She curled her fingers and fought to contain her runaway thoughts. They weren’t appropriate, especially after being in Ethan’s arms. She swore she could still smell him on her skin.
The Tanner wolf chuckled, breaking the trance he’d cast over her. She tore her attention from the cleft in his chin to his eyes.
“Hello, little Hannah Kagan. What brings you to this shithole town?”
She took a step forward, anger replacing the lust. “Don’t ever call me little.”
The growl to her voice shocked her. It took the Tanner wolf by surprise too. His smirk faded instantly, and his cocky stance eased. He tilted his head and studied her as if seeing her for the first time. Something flashed in his green eyes. Respect, maybe? She didn’t know. Didn’t care. She took another step.

“And why I’m here is none of your fucking business.”

Hannah Kagan thinks helping a friend is a really bad idea – but that doesn’t stop her from doing it anyway.  Ethan Jager is a total alpha male.  Noah is just trying to figure out where he fits in.

Our author shows how prejudices even for shifters can be hurtful – there’s a reverse of prejudice as well.  And that’s why this story would work whether it was paranormal or not.  It’s a story that shows that nothing is simple when it comes to love – do you follow your heart or what people expect.

The author goes the extra mile to include the politics of being a pack.  It’s one way that shows how different we are.  But that doesn’t stop them from loving a human either.  The story blends well and is easy to follow.  You will have no problem following along – even if you haven’t read the first book.  But I hope that if you love this book, you’ll go back and read Bridged by Love.  And beware – the tension and heat may burn out your e-reader.

What I love about this genre is that nothing is off limits – who’s to say what is right or wrong.  It takes a lot of creativity to write about something that doesn’t exist.  And the only way you can tell how great it is, is if you follow the series and notice the detail that the author takes the time to create.  Those that are fans of series notice if something is off from one book to the next.  And speaking of next, I couldn’t find out what the next title will be so we’ll just have to be patient until Ms. Corrigan reveals it to us.

Abstract painted background in subtle shades of blue, gray, and peach.

He was born to kill her…but he’ll risk all to save her

HunterDeceived300
Synopsis

Wild Hunt, Book 1

Every day, Harley fights the urge to embrace the dark heritage that could turn her Unseelie. Evil. Bad. A nightmarish monster like the ones that wiped out her family. The only thing keeping her on this side of Seelie is a promise made to the ghostly man who saved her that terrible night.
Whenever she’s tempted, she calls up a vision of his eyes. Hears his voice calling her back from the brink of madness. Years later, when she returns to the scene of her living hell, he’s her only hope for salvation.
Calan, the leader of the Wild Hunt, was created to protect mankind from the Unseelie Court, not love one of them. He never expected the rightness he felt with her all those years ago would explode into desire.
But saving her from a fate she can’t escape could damn them both…and leave the world open for destruction.

Warning: Contains a half-fae woman who could really use a Seelie version of AA to stay clean and monster-free. And a rider of the Wild Hunt who’ll take any risk to keep her safe from her enemies. Including himself.

Note: This book was previously published. It has been expanded and re-edited.

This author shows the fine line between good and evil.  It’s not as easy a fight as you would think.  If you search the Internet, you will see that this story may have been based on some Celtic mythology.  You may even find yourself wanting to know more.  We see that there’s a fine line between our two worlds and there are those that protect us mere humans from the unseen.  And it’s a great incentive to keep reading the series.

You would think that once they find each other everything would fall into place.  That is so not true.  There are other forces here and everything will happen when the time is right.  And that is also true in saying those three little words – the author has some interesting ways of putting that off.  If you like action in your stories then you’ll be happy to know that you will get plenty here.  What are you willing to fight for?  The ending is not a finish but a beginning – it’s the set up for the beginning of Hunter Forsaken coming out in February.

Excerpt

A long moment passed where they watched each other, two strangers on the verge of becoming so much more. The full impact hit her, left her a little shaky inside but not anxious. No, excitement sped her pulse.
She licked her lips, already envisioning what they’d do together. “So, am I right?”
He slid his hungry gaze to her breasts. The points stood erect, and the sheen of her skin betrayed how hot she’d gotten from touching herself.
“Oh yes, I’ll fuck you, my Harley. Sometimes hard and fast. Other times so damn slowly, you’ll beg me to fill you up.” He met her eyes. “I’ll take you so often and in so many ways, you’ll want me to be the center of your world as you are now mine.”
He released her wrists and covered one breast with his hand. The hard point pushed against his callused skin, and a jolt of electricity raced down her spine. He captured the tip she’d teased minutes ago. The small pinch arched her back.
“Do you like that?”
She flicked her gaze from his long fingers holding her nipple to his face and nodded. “Do it again.”
One corner of his mouth rose. He rolled the tip, and she gasped. Another tug clenched her core. “Beautiful. I can’t wait to watch that look pass over your face when I fuck you.”
She whimpered.
The smile giving him a roguish look turned wicked. “You do want me to ram my cock inside you and make you come apart around my dick”—he ran the tip of his tongue over his upper lip—“don’t you?”
“I…I…” She couldn’t get the words out.
He released her hands and sat back so he knelt between her thighs. Her attention shifted from
the desire stamped on his face to the long length of his erection molded by his pants.
“Touch it.”

Hunter Sacrificed, book 0.5…a free read

Arawn is a very lonely man due to the job he has.  It’s a little confusing who’s fighting for good and who’s bad but as the series unfolds this will come to light.   Arawn seems to be an honorable man – he’s willing to make a personal sacrifice to try and make things right.  It comes with a price – nothing is free.

This is the perfect short read to start off the Wild Hunt Series.  This story shows the beginning of the mythology that swirls through this series.  If you love paranormals that deal with gods, demigods, and fairies; you may want to check out the world that this author has created.  The author could have added this story at the beginning of her first book but it would have made the book too long and might have confused the reader.  By giving Arawn his own novella, the reader has an understanding how the whole series came to be.  And what a great beginning.

Hunter Forsaken, book 2.0…releases 2-16-16. Available for pre-order.
