My Thoughts:

Tempest is planning a big surprise for her boyfriend, Ryan.  Ryan is a man who took his position and turned it into a business.  Aiden is more than a business partner.  Are you someone that likes surprises?  See what happens when dreams come true for Tempest, Ryan, and Aiden.

This is not an ordinary love story.  Yes, the sex scenes are hot but it’s not limited to just two people.  You will love this story if you enjoy reading erotica.  If you don’t mind reading about ménage.  But we also see what a woman will do to please both herself and her lover(s).  The story starts out around a certain holiday and come that holiday I just may decide to read this story again.

The way this story is told, you almost feel as if the characters are speaking to you and letting you know what they feel and are experiencing as each scene goes by.  This may be considered a taboo but it is only if you are not comfortable with three people loving each other.  I didn’t feel that any scene made me feel that way.  The way the author has written her story, everything just makes sense.  But Tempest’s friend does show us how someone may not agree with your choice in this type of relationship.  It’s a story that does delve into what most would consider forbidden. This story is pure fantasy but you have to wonder if people are exploring this side of their sexuality more and more.  If you’re thinking about adding some role playing to your sex life, why not check out this book – it just may give you a few ideas.

Since my book has sections for body, mind and spirit as well as an intro, below are few paragraphs on intro, body and another few paragraphs from the mind section, not sure which would work best, please help inform?

INTRO

In today’s global economy, more is expected of our kids than ever before. To have a better chance for a successful future, our kids are expected to perform from a very young age. They are taking more standardized tests than we can count, expected to excel at competitive sports, participate in extracurricular activities, all while excelling academically in their coursework. Not only that but college admissions are getting more and more difficult, with no guarantee of getting into the college of choice. As a result, we expect a lot from our kids for them to succeed.

Our goal as parents is to make sure our kids are provided with the optimal conditions in which to succeed. One of our responsibilities is to ensure our kids are eating healthy. This starts with the food we provide them. But our food supply is getting worse every day, which is only working against us. Our kids are eating more processed foods and sugar than ever before, and not enough fruits and vegetables. We live in a country where they count ketchup as a vegetable in the school lunch program and where we are not always told what is in our food supply. According to Food Chemical News, the leading news service on US food law and policy, a U.S. Senate appropriations bill also stipulates that “tomato paste used to make pizzas can be counted toward the weekly total of vegetable servings." The childhood obesity rate is at an all-time high, leading to more cases of childhood diabetes than our medical system is prepared for. It is a very sad fact that this might be the first generation that our kids’ lifespan is expected to be shorter than ours, even by five years.

That is why we need to arm our kids with the physical, emotional and mental tools so that they have a better shot at figuring out their life-path and achieving their goals. A part of arming our kids with this knowledge means that we need to communicate to our children that a healthy life starts with a healthy body. A strong body leads to a strong mind. An open, calm mind helps us discover our life’s purpose. Providing these tools to our loved ones is no easy feat considering we are already very busy caregivers. We have so much going on and adding more items to our ever growing to-do list could be enough to throw us over the edge. That coupled with the fact that the food system isn’t really in our favor and most of the food options out there are not really good for us.

BOOK SYNOPSIS:

A funny thing happened on the way to the battlefield.

What had Arthur called this place? Brydein? There was no kingdom of that name in the entire world. At least… not in his world. 

He recalled the odd wrenching sensation he’d felt as he had stepped into a patch of mist. Had he passed through a gate between worlds? If so, someone from Brydein must have summoned him. Had this Arthur done so? If he had, he would regret it. Cai would relax his grip soon enough, and Garrin resolved to be ready. 

Meantime, he needed more answers.

“What do you want with me?” Garrin demanded of Arthur. 

Arthur nodded at one of his soldiers, and the man retrieved Arthur’s sword for him. He examined the blade longer than Garrin felt was necessary before sheathing it at last.

No one—mage or otherwise—had ever possessed the anatomy to make Garrin stew. He felt his respect for this man rise a notch. 

“Want… with you?” Arthur shook his head as if perplexed by the question. “Not one bloody thing. In fact, Garrin brin Alaric, you are a distinct inconvenience.”

My Thoughts:

Arthur Map Uther is leading an army.  King Urien map Dumerac is part family and part nemesis.  Garrin brin Alaric is a man who is more than he seems.  The authors will surprise you with an “enemy” that Arthur doesn’t know he has.  Loved how the authors turned Garrin’s position around.

If you are someone that loves the idea of Camelot and Merlin than you will love this read.  Maybe you love the Arthurian time period than again you will love this read.  It’s really short and you can finish the book between 30 minutes to an hour.  My hope is that the authors will continue this story.  I felt that this world has so much more to give the reader.  Didn’t feel that it was written either for the young adult or New Adult but I think that either group may enjoy.  But don’t know if that would change should the authors decide to make this book as part of a series.

CHARACTER BIOS

Arthur is a warrior-king, military strategist, diplomat, and great in the sack with his wife, Gyan. They have three children. He loves a good friendly bout with swords, blunted or otherwise, and can hold his own in a verbal duel too.

Garrin is a mage-king and warrior, not so great with diplomacy but is willing to learn, and you’ll have to ask him how good he is in the sack with his significant other, Kaitlyn. If you dare. He is well versed in herbal lore and makes a terrific camp stew.

Kim Headlee lives on a farm in the mountains of southwestern Virginia with her family, cats, fish, goats, Great Pyrenees goat guards, and assorted wildlife. People and creatures come and go, but the cave and the 250-year-old house ruins—the latter having been occupied as recently as the mid-twentieth century—seem to be sticking around for a while yet.
