Mateo is used to being in the spotlight. He craves it in everything he does … except when it comes to his love life – that is firmly in the closet.
Tomas shuns the spotlight, the one he was born into. He wants nothing to do with it or his high-flying family who now reject him for his choice in love.
But Tomas and Mateo’s carefully constructed lives are turned inside out when they discover a beautiful, battered woman on their doorstep.
The woman with the sapphire eyes has no memory of who she is or how she got there.
Can Tomas and Mateo help her remember before she’s found by the men chasing her?

My Thoughts:
Tomas is trying to help a friend. Zoe has a mother who seems to have a one-track mind. Mateo seems to be the voice of reason when it comes to a mystery left near the doorstep. Our author has a very creative mind to come up with the mystery and international intrigue found within this book. Her main characters have a way of connecting almost from the beginning.
It’s a book that grabbed my attention almost from the beginning. We have two men who on the surface are the best of friends. Add in the mystery that surrounds Zoe. This may have hints of the Bratva but the romance does not involve them. The author shows how three people can change from strangers to a family unit.
If you decide to take a chance on this book, and I’m glad that I did, you need to be comfortable with implied violence to women. And in some cases, you will have no problem seeing that depicted. You will also have to be comfortable with a love that encompasses more than two people. We’re left hanging with anticipation and will just have to wait for the next book in the series to come out. And thankfully we only have a month to wait.
