Wicked Promises, an angsty, emotional new adult romance from L A Cotton is live!!!

The edgy, angsty, addictive YA/NA crossover series from L A Cotton continues...

Forever is a long time.

Summer Stone-Prince has her whole life mapped out. Attend college with her childhood sweetheart. Graduate. Get married and live happily-ever-after. But all it takes are two little words and everything changes.

Lost and alone, Summer finds herself wondering how she’ll ever weather the storm.

Until she finds comfort in the arms of an unexpected savior.

There’s only one problem—he can’t promise forever, he can only give her right now.

Wicked Promises is the seventh book in the Wicked Bay series but can be read as a standalone

"The angst slapped me in the face and I was alternating between crying and laughing throughout the whole story." Wendy's Wycked Words
"A story of heartbreak and healing, LA Cotton has just once again proved why she’s a 1-click author for me." ~ Queen of the Books

My Thoughts:

Summer Stone-Prince’s life is about to change.  She shows that not everyone has it easy when they hit that point where they move from teenager to young adult.  And she actually found someone, or maybe he found her, to be her champion.  J.B. Holloway is trying to get back in the game.  He makes some very grown up decisions when most in his age group are all about having fun.

For some readers, this may be an emotional rollercoaster ride.  Having a box of tissue handy just in case might be a good idea.  What I’ve read of this series, I’ve enjoyed as well as had issues with.  This one has to be my favorite though.  The author hasn’t written anything that didn’t seem probable.  It’s one where I could see the families existing in my town – the most realistic.  If there was one thing that I really didn’t like is what the author discloses in her Author’s Note.

This is a series where you’ll come to care about these young adults.  In this book, you can really tell how much they all care about each other.  So I’ll be interested to see what the author has in store for her readers once the next book comes out.

Edgy. Angsty. Addictive Romance.

Author of mature young adult and new adult novels, L A is happiest writing the kind of books she loves to read: addictive stories full of teenage angst, tension, twists and turns.

Home is a small town in the middle of England where she currently juggles being a full-time writer with being a mother/referee to two little people. In her spare time (and when she’s not camped out in front of the laptop) you’ll most likely find L A immersed in a book, escaping the chaos that is life.
