My Thoughts:
Tucker “Country” Abrams loves being part of an MC. He likes his freedom and having tail whenever
he wants. He’s also a little full of
himself and something of a jerk when it pertains to women. Talia “Bruce” McKinnon is on assignment and
she may have gotten more than she planned for.
Talia is walking a fine line between doing her job and being a woman.
Be warned that the sex scenes are graphic. But the author still leaves some things to
your imagination. This story is written
in a way that you can almost imagine that the Spartan’s actually exist as well
as their enemy. She also shows that not
all members of an MC come from a shady background. This is a book that stands on its own
merit. You don’t have to read Grit in order to enjoy Talia and
Tucker’s story. But if you want to know
more about the MC’s enemy and know more about the Spartan’s then I would go
back and read the first book.
If you’ve never read Ms. Valentine’s work before this series would
be a good place to start. She doesn’t
bog any scene down or get off point.
There is some violence but not as bas as some that you may see in the
movies or on TV. You try to take your time in reading her story
but before you know it you’ve come to the end.
The only disappointment I couldn’t find a hint anywhere as to if we’ll
see a book three in this series.
