My Thoughts:
This book gives the reader a peek
at the other Cade brothers – who we get to see as the rest of the series
unfold. If you’re thinking how fun it
would be to start your own business, this book shows how tough it can be. Don’t expect a lot of sex here – and it
doesn’t need it. The other aspects of
this story are what make it stand out.
You do however get a lot of tension, heat, and the anticipation of what
might be. Part of the anticipation has
to do with a mystery that surrounds the business. And that was what had me hooked because I
needed to know if the mystery gets solved or will it carry through to the next
book. We see how creative the author is
by how many different ways Levi inserts his foot in his mouth.
The author does a great job in
getting the reader ready for the next book in the series. I was happy to see we don’t have to wait
another year before the book comes out.
But I still have to wait until September to get my hands on Daring Wes. The good thing is that I have a copy of Cocky Prince to get me through until
then. This is an author that I will keep on my radar.

She climbed to her feet and leaned into him, tracing the
scar above his eye. “I like this scar.”
He chuckled and dropped his cheek into her hand. “Glad it
pleases someone. It didn’t feel too good when it happened.”
“I don’t like it because you were hurt. It’s just—it brought you to me. And it reminds me that you’re not the same person I met years ago. That we’ve both changed… However”—she grinned saucily—“scars are pretty hot.”
He tugged at her top and kissed her collarbone, tickling her
with his lips, because the naughty man had quickly discovered a sensitive spot.
“My scar looks hot, does it?”
She laughed as he continued to pepper her skin with light
kisses. She lifted her shoulder in defense. “Very sexy.”
“Hmmm, don’t give me ideas, Emily, or I won’t let you go home.”
