One thing I found is that you
could read this as a stand-alone if you so choose. But I also found that it was a great
incentive to read the rest of the books in the series especially if you want to
find out what other book(s) Jax appears in.
You can’t help but be a fan of this author – especially if you’re a fan
of the paranormal. This book is an
adventurous ride to see how Jax and Katrina handle their dilemma. And it doesn’t hurt that the story has a sexy
alpha. As you read, you will realize how
strong Katrina is. The author reminds
her readers that being a mate doesn’t mean that things will go smoothly.
This was one of those books that
I can add to my hard to put down lists.
You know it’s a good book if there just isn’t a good stopping
point. Also a reminder to the reader
that with some paranormal romances, there are multiple partners and you will
have this here. I didn’t feel that the
author left the reader hanging with Jax and Katrina’s story but the ending left
me wondering if Jake is going to be in the author’s next book but couldn’t find
anything so we will just have to wait.
