My Thoughts:

Julie is happy to be starting her life over.  But there are times when the weight of the world is on her shoulders.  She gives a voice to what a lot of women are feeling.  Alejandro makes her both excited and a little leery at the same time.  But he seems to be just what she needs.  It’s a story where I wish I had Enrique Iglesias music playing in the background – well there’s always the next time.

This is a fast paced read.  And because it’s short none of the scenes slow down by giving the reader too much information.  One surprise was how quickly the ending came.  Yes, I know it’s short and yes, I know this also means the ending will come sooner rather than later.  But I wanted my enjoyment to continue. 

If you are looking for a quick and sexy read than this author delivers here.  But don’t expect a perfect ending.  It will leave you wanting to know how this couple’s story ends.  The author will give you a hint when you get there.  And it left me happy.  Ms. Valentine ends with a note to her readers.  I was glad to read it and I hope you will take the time to read it too.

Kayla has come to rely heavily on Oliver Ryan.  But she’s ready to take an infatuation to the next level.  He won’t realize what’s hit him and has no choice but to enjoy the ride.  This is a hot and dirty tale almost from the very beginning.  The sad part is that it’s such a short story that our enjoyment is over almost as soon as it begins.

It’s a story that you can get read in an hour easy – a couple at the most if you have to stop.  I didn’t want to stop.  It’s very steamy so keep a glass of cold water, or your cold beverage of choice, handy.  And when I mean steamy I mean that we see exactly how into each other these two characters are.  If you like a story about a woman who has the hots for her brother’s best friend than this book is for you. 

My disappointment is that because the story is so short, it leaves me wondering where they went after the story ended.  But this is where my imagination comes in if I so choose.  It’s also great because if I have a very short amount of time and I have a book itch that needs to be scratched; I can pick this book up, get my fix, and then go on about my day.  Or even better, what a way to end my day.
