My Thoughts:

Phoenix Rose is ready for a new beginning – seems to fit her name perfectly.  Cooper “Coop” Cochran has his work cut out for him – especially with an employee like Maris Kennedy.  Setting the mood is in the back of my mind as I read the beginning of this story.

Being out in nature is a good start.  This makes it the perfect vacation read and I would love to find a place like Coop’s to sit and read this book and even maybe this series.  Of course, they would also have to have his employees as well.

As I get to know Phoenix and her co-workers, they have me wanting to know more.  It’s a great book to sit back and enjoy.  It may be listed as a romcom but our author gives us a little mystery/suspense as well.  Personally, I loved the connection our main characters had as well as getting to know all the secondary characters.  You want some comic relief?  Phoenix’s sister Ridley is an experience.

This book reminded me why Ms. Foster was my go to author when I needed something to feel good about.  Her characters are always ones that I could relate to and they never seemed over the top.  She always gives me the happy ending I want that will leave me with a smile on my face or even saying “aw”.  And I get a conclusion to the mystery.  Even with all that it still leaves me wanting more.
