My Thoughts:
This book carries on from where book two left off. It’s best to read this series/serial in order
so that you get a true understanding of the Calvetti family.
Mateo “Teo” Calvetti gives me the impression that things may be
coming to a head. Carina Ricci has never
had a chance to be part of a happy family.
One thing that made me sad is that she feels that she doesn’t deserve to
be happy.
This story is short, sweet, and to the point. But realize that these people constantly have
violence in their lives. Don’t go into
this expecting hearts and flowers. If
you’re looking for a short read you will have that here. Just don’t expect a definitive ending because
it left me saying “no, no, no!” So I was
glad to see that there’s a book four. So
if you like stories that leave you hanging off a cliff than this will hit the
mark.

My Thoughts:
Mateo “Teo” Calvetti is very upset about how he was
manipulated. He’s still self-assured and
runs things with an iron fist. Carina
Ricci starts us off with some disturbing memories. But she was strong enough to let someone into
her life that she could learn to love. I
certainly can’t even begin to imagine what she’s been through but our author
shows us some in graphic detail. But I
loved her attitude.
This is a series where you will need to keep an open mind. Our couple would not be considered normal. It ‘s a story that will showcase our author’s
talent. She has a great imagination and
creativity - that’s what sucked me in.
And just like in the first book I don’t believe that there is a defined
hero or heroine. This is a dark tale and
may have triggers for some. There is no
ending but a tense moment that left me on the edge of my seat looking forward
to book three – I want to know how things are going to end for our main
characters.
