My Thoughts:
Dragon doesn’t seem to have any redeeming qualities. He has qualities that you see when you think of the stigma that the clubs used to have. You will see that it’s because he hasn’t had the right woman in his life. He’s got a sweet little girl in his life but he needs someone that can scratch an itch as well as having him wanting more.
Bellarosa didn’t ask for what’s been thrown at her. She’s decided that she’s had enough and wants to change. She also needs the right person in her life that will free her and let her spread her wings. A great way to connect these two people together is that sweet little girl. I was just sorry we didn’t see more of her.
I understand that we can’t since Dragon tries to keep his two sides separate. Our author one more time makes her story seem so realistic. I can’t say that one character is more important than another because they’re all needed in order to make this group seem so real. Dragon explains how things are to Bellarosa and it seems like he’s including us in their conversations. The author is sneaky. It’s not until the ending that Bellarosa has an epiphany. That’s a great way to create a page-turner because it’s like a mystery where you can’t stop until you find out whodunit. In this case, you want to know if she’s found what she’s been looking for, for quite some time. But I also had to wonder if I’ve received the next book hint.
