Once upon a time a sinner, a priest and a madman played a dangerous game...
She is a sinner.
He is a serial killer.
He is a serial killer.
She demanded vengeance.
He demanded her.
He demanded her.
She vowed to avenge.
He vowed to destroy.
He vowed to destroy.
She created a web of lies.
He wore a mask of deceit.
He wore a mask of deceit.
She wanted to escape.
He captured her instead.
He captured her instead.
There are no rules in this twisted game of theirs.
But there is a winner who claims the sinner.
But there is a winner who claims the sinner.

My Thoughts:
This story is dark and not one that you want to eat while you’re reading. It’s intense and not hard to picture the scenes our author has fabricated. I think the word fabricated seems to be a perfect description since she weaves her characters through the scenes that keep our minds engaged. This is a book that you just have to keep going back for more. You think you’re going to stop and come back later – yea, you may find that it’s more like five minutes later. It’s very hard to put down.
Ms. Mason does a great job in creating something that grabs your attention. And that becomes very important because you’re not going to want to miss a thing. She lets us travel into the past to see how important that is to the present. That past also reveals things that had me thinking, “that’s interesting” which had me so entrenched in their lives and the mystery that surrounded them. I loved the twists and turns that had me wondering, “What is going on”. The ending isn’t really an ending because our mystery is not anywhere near solved. That just means that I see what is in my future, Madman’s Cure.

About the Author:
V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn’t happen. Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it. When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.
