Blurb:

Could you love a man surrounded by danger?

Gigi Gallo's childhood was filled with the roar of a motorcycle and the hum of a tattoo gun. Fresh out of college, she's about to start working at her family's tattoo studio -- Inked. But when she shows up the first day, she never expects to run into someone tall, dark, and totally sexy from her not-so-innocent past.

Pike Moore is a bossy biker with a cocky attitude and an even bigger ego. He came to Inked to start over. New town. New job. New roots. None of that included coming face-to-face with the hot chick who spent a week in his bed before she vanished without a trace.

But when Pike's dark family history catches up with him, can he stop Gigi from being caught in the crossfire?

My Thoughts:

Gigi Gallo pulls up her pants and does something she may come to regret – and maybe not. She’s stretching her wings and testing her independence. Pike Moore does something that surprises both of us. He shows that you can’t make assumptions based on how someone looks. And he’s very blunt when he has to be.

This story had me wanting to get in my car and track down their tattoo shop and make an appointment. The only issue would be which person would I want to put some ink on me. Would it be Gigi’s father, Gigi, or Pike? The author does such a good job in weaving her scenes that I you could almost believe that these people actually exist. But I would probably chicken out at the last second since I don’t do well with pain. Plus I have so many issues that they’d probably ask me to politely turn around and leave.

But that’s one good thing about fiction. You can put yourself into the story and know that nothing bad is going to happen to you. So if I inserted myself into Gigi and Pike’s story, I would rock the tattoo that I would get. The author is rockin’ the fiction thing. She makes Gigi a young woman and Pike an older man. However, their age difference isn’t much in the scheme of things. I liked the spunk our author gave Gigi – could feel her attitude coming off the page.

If you’ve never read the Men of Inked series, this would be a great introduction and leave you wanting to check out some more. If you love a book where the two main characters have a certain chemistry than you’ve got that here in spades. Our author has done a great job in taking her Men of Inked into the next generation and I can’t wait for more. And that’s a good thing since the author left me hanging at the end.
