The author gives the reader some
character information about the Ashwood Falls Pack. Plus she goes one step further and includes a
Glossary of Terms as well.
Felix Darwin is out to rescue
someone who is very important to him.
Savannah is not happy with him.
Zorana is also not happy with him but for different reasons. It won’t take the reader long to realize that
this is not the first book in the series – which for some it will be a great
incentive to read the books they may have missed. You may even understand more about the
characters if you’ve read the previous books first.
Kieran is a man that infuriates
the hell out of Ana. You can almost
picture him as a chest beater. You also
feel the heartache that Ana feels. It’s
a book that shows that a pack is a community and that they all work for the
good of that pack. It’s not all about
the romance and that’s where the pack comes in. We get some adventure and mystery
included. The reader won’t even realize
how short the book is until they get to the end.
One good thing about a blitz is
that you may find yourself coming into contact with an author you have never
read before. You may also find that your
TBR list growing. But one good thing
about this book is that it’s a short story that will only take you a couple of
hours to read. And that’s one of the bad
things, you don’t look forward to the ending – it comes too quickly. I can’t find a mention of a next book so that
will give you a chance to fall in love with some of the author’s other stories.
