Garrett Samuelson is at a team party when he meets Olivia
Case. She’s a woman who can keep up with
him. And the author has no trouble in
letting the reader know the heat that these two create together. What I loved about the characters the author
has created here is that no one is perfect.
She has created characters that her readers can relate to. And she also knows how to get the reader’s
emotions involved so you may want to get your box of tissues just in case.
Olivia has a great boss and a great job but my smell-a-vision
seems to be broken and then my mouth drops open – you’ll just have to read in
order to find out why. I hope you’ll
love her boss as much as I did – he’s one character that I’d love to meet. He also sounds like a great friend and one
I’d love to have around. There’s one
scene where, for me, he’s solidified his gold star.
It won’t take you long to realize that it’s more then a hockey
team but their also one big family. Which
is one reason to follow this series. If
you’re someone who’s a sports/romance fan or just a fan of this author’s, then
this is a book to have in your library. This
is also a book that will act as a reminder as to what’s important in life. And the only thing I’ll tell you about the
ending is that it will have you smiling.
Book one just came out in October and book three doesn’t come out June
so if you haven’t read Garrett’s teammate Alex’s story you have plenty of time
to get caught up.
