Faith
As a single mom, getting a night on the town is unexpected. Much less a weekend. When an opportunity arises to go to a signing in Texas, I cannot help but jump at it. Between being a mom, author, and running my life coaching business, I never get the time to embrace the wild side of me. If you would’ve told me the weekend that was supposed to be dedicated to my readers and writing about bikers would include my own personal biker to swoon over. I would’ve called you a liar.

Growing up without a family really messed with my head. When I joined the Iron Travelers MC I thought I had found my family. However, something is missing and I cannot put my finger on it. While at an author signing, I meet a woman that makes me feel. She makes me see another side of myself I never knew I had. Will she be the one to restore my faith and family?

Faith is an author whose life doesn’t mimic the stories she writes about. Dude is focused on completing his current mission. Their story may seem tame compared to some other MC series. That didn’t stop my enjoyment or remembering what I said I wouldn’t do again. I once again finished the book in one day and needed coffee to get me through my workday.
By the time I got to the end of chapter two, I came to realize how this book and the author complement book one. And why she recommends reading this series in order. The story shows how much fun an author can have when they leave the worlds that they create. She also does a good job when creating her book boyfriend. I can’t wait to learn more about the author and the books she has out in the world, while not forgetting to keep an eye out for more of the Iron Travelers.
This author is a little different from her partner in crime in that I’ve already read one of her books. With this book, I got to see more of her writing style while expanding one of my lists – and that’s a good thing. When you finish this book, I hope you come away feeling the same.
Kristine Dugger is an upcoming contemporary romance novelist. She resides in Papillion, NE (suburb of Omaha, NE). Damaged is her first published book. This was dream come true for Kristine. Writing has always been a passion of hers. Kristine has a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Health Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is a Dietitian by day, Writer by night, Always a Mom. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two very beautiful daughters, reading, listening to music, CrossFit and playing/watching sports.
