My Thoughts:

Aidan is not happy about the current situation.  Kinlee’s past has come a-calling.  There seems to be a secondary character that may have some words of wisdom for Kinlee.  This character also seems to be a mother hen – something else she seems to need.  Our main characters may have a second chance at what they lost a long time ago.

The author creates the perfect scene in order to get us to chuckle – well worth the wait.  On the flipside, she creates a twist that may have you momentarily holding your breath.  And thankful that this is a work of fiction because you wouldn’t want to see that happening to anyone.  Between that and the following mystery was one reason I had to keep turning the page. 

This is one story that may make you hungry.  She came up with a snack that I’ll have to try.  It’s certainly something that I never would have thought of on my own.  There have been times where it may be a hit and some where it’s a miss so it will be interesting to see what it will be in this case.

If you’re looking for a sports romance, you won’t find that here.  Oh, you’ll get the romance but this is more of a story where the sport stays mostly in the background.  It’s also a story that I felt was more about Kinlee than of them trying to be a couple.  Aidan might be considered a white knight but lacked the romantic aspect of it.  I felt more romance coming from a friend of Aidan’s and his significant other.  At least until the ending was upon me.
