My Thoughts:
Summer Stone-Prince’s life is about to change. She shows that not everyone has it easy when
they hit that point where they move from teenager to young adult. And she actually found someone, or maybe he
found her, to be her champion. J.B.
Holloway is trying to get back in the game.
He makes some very grown up decisions when most in his age group are all
about having fun.
For some readers, this may be an emotional rollercoaster
ride. Having a box of tissue handy just
in case might be a good idea. What I’ve
read of this series, I’ve enjoyed as well as had issues with. This one has to be my favorite though. The author hasn’t written anything that
didn’t seem probable. It’s one where I
could see the families existing in my town – the most realistic. If there was one thing that I really didn’t
like is what the author discloses in her Author’s Note.
This is a series where you’ll come to care about these young
adults. In this book, you can really
tell how much they all care about each other.
So I’ll be interested to see what the author has in store for her
readers once the next book comes out.
