My Thoughts:
What’s good about an anthology is if you’re short on time you can read one or two stories and then go back for more later. It’s also a great way to catch up with some of your favorite authors as well as get to know some new ones. You also may get to catch up with some MC’s that you’ve read in the past.
There are some authors that will tease you. My inbox has gotten a little more crowded since I had to add some new newsletters. Something else that’s great, depending on how you look at it, an author takes a fairy tale that most of us are familiar with and puts a very modern very MC twist on it. No two stories feel the same so I can’t say that I liked one above the rest. I didn’t find one that I didn’t like either.
The only problem becomes now I have some more MC clubs that I need to investigate. For your first time, I would read the stories in order. Then when you find you want to go back and read again, you could switch things around. Maybe read your new authors first and then the next time start with your all-time favorites. If you have a day where it’s miserable out, you could have an MC marathon – there are just so many possibilities. I won’t say it’s the best part, but it’s a close second, all the proceeds go to a worth cause. I wonder if I could put in a reservation for a follow up anthology?
