Full Blurb:
He stalked me from the moment he saw me. He watched me day and night.
Butcher is what everyone calls crazy. They see all the tattoos and scars and to be honest, to most people he looks downright scary. He’s dangerous. He is after all the enforcer to the Devil Souls MC.
But to me? He’s just Butcher. I see him. I see who he really is. I see a man who will do anything for the people he cares about. I see the man who will protect and love me above everything else.
I am just as obsessed with him as he is me. I will die for him and he would kill for me.
What everyone doesn’t know is I have the same crazy inside of me...

My Thoughts:
Shaylin “Shay” certainly knows
how to look after herself and her loved ones – I wouldn’t want to mess with
her. She has one word for Butcher and
even though he hasn’t spoken a word at that point I have to agree. Dean’s like a man possessed. Shay has a cute niece that will have you in
stitches. But then watch what the author
does at the finale.
I wasn’t even a quarter into the
story and I came upon a scene that had me wishing I could see that play out on
film. This is when I decide that I’m not
going anywhere for a while – my butt just seems to be glued to the chair. There are just some stories that decide what
your day is going to be like.
This book is written in the first
person and we get both Shay and Butcher’s point of view but our author goes one
better by including the point of view from Shay’s dad. There was so much going on here that I
thought that was a smart move on her part.
For me, this story was more about
Shay than anything else. There was a lot
going on in her world. As you get
farther into that world there’s no mistaking how Butcher feels about her. But be warned that it is a world that
includes violence. She’s not a woman who
shies away from it but meets it head on - with a smile on her face. She can certainly hold her own in this man’s
world. Butcher seemed to take a back
seat in some of the scenes. For me the
ending seemed to just stop. I was
waiting for just a little more and then the author gave me an epilogue and that
made me feel better.
