BLUE BALLS
Truth: A painful condition caused by a prolonged state of sexual arousal without release.
Myth: Only affects males.
SARAH
I’m beyond frustrated with the man who’s left me high and very far from dry. Multiple times. But, somehow, even though I’m not interested in a relationship, Mr. Tall-Dark-and-Handsome keeps me coming back for more—one crazy, sexual debacle after the next.
Come hell or high water, the stars will align, and the release will be out of this world.
JACK
I’m captivated with the woman who’s left me sixty-nine shades of blue, and she's only in this for one thing. The first time, I blew it—and not in the good way—but I’m going to ensure we finally see it through. I need to put an end to this “plague” of sexual calamities and prove to Sarah that we can have more.
It's time to grab the universe by the balls and show it who's boss.

This author is crafty. If
you read the dedication and note, and I do hope you’ll take the time, she sets
the tone right from the beginning.
Sarah Matthews seems to be talking directly to the reader. She introduces herself and you will almost
want to return the favor. And that’s
what’s nice about a first person read.
There are times when you can feel as if you are a part of a scene. Or you might feel as if you’re friends with
the character.
Jack Westbrook and Sarah have mutual friends. I don’t see any indication that this is part
of a series but if you want to learn about these two friends then you’ll want
to check out Clam Jam and there’s a
teaser at the end of the book. After
reading this story it has me wondering what this author had in store for them
especially after reading that little tease.
We also get to see our main characters there as well.
Our author does a great job of creating some combustible heat
between these Jack and Sarah. They also
like playing with fire. Ms. Bolt found a
way to work in one of my favorite children’s stories. Certainly had me looking at it
differently. She also creates a dare
that I’m curious how many of you actually check out. In one scene she has Jack let us know what he
wears – please, give me a break. Guys
don’t care what we wear. This just shows
that this author knows does job very well.
She has a way of getting her readers involved with her characters. Ms. Bolt is a big tease – does a great job at
building anticipation and not just one.
There was one scene where I wondered if she worked in the public safety
sector – she’s got detour down to a science.
You will find that with doing the alternating persons that you get
both sides to the scene. At times Sarah
may seem serious but Jack puts in enough quips to get me to chuckling. It also had me turning the page you just to
know what they’re going to come up with next.
It’s all about the anticipation of what may or may not occur. I’m glad I had the chance to be on this
ride. No carsickness or upset stomach
here. But my stomach may hurt a little
from all the laughing.
RC Boldt is the wife of Mr. Boldt, a retired Navy Chief, mother of Little Miss Boldt, and former teacher of many students. She currently lives on the southeastern coast of North Carolina, enjoys long walks on the beach, running, reading, people watching, and singing karaoke. If you’re in the mood for some killer homemade mojitos, can’t recall the lyrics to a particular 80’s song, or just need to hang around a nonconformist who will do almost anything for a laugh, she’s your girl.
