My Thoughts:
Alexis “Lex” Grant starts out her
story helping the Anderson family. Blake
Anderson is so frustrating. It was
interesting to see these two work together.
Alexis did a lot of things that I would never have the guts to do. She’s resourceful and was glad to see that
she knows her limits. Blake is a smart
man because he realizes what he wants but that’s when he turns alpha on
us.
There is a tie in to the first
book in the series, Claiming Grace. If you don’t read that one first try to go
back and read it after you finish this story.
Both books give you plenty of action and suspense. These Anderson men are also romantic. What I loved about this story is that we get
two endings. One is for our main couple,
Alexis and Blake. The other lets us into
what might be in the next book coming in December. Good thing our author has several other
series that I love to read. They should
keep me occupied until Claiming Bailey
arrives.
